Page and  blog content writing is a critical component for getting ranked in the search results and for making the most of traffic from paid ads.

Incorporating relevant keyword phrases naturally into content that resonates with the intended audience and aligns with their search queries is key to improving search engine rankings.

Content has to show that your site has credibility from your depth of knowledge with trustworthy answers in clear and engaging wording.

After the click, you need emotion...

Their emotion to act will come when they empathise with the problem you solve.

 

For business sites, content has to be so much more than 'who-we-are and what-we-do'. The vast majority of owner-developed website content falls into this category.

Visitors skim read and if they can't very quickly see that you solve their problem, then they will go and all your efforts to attract them to your site are wasted. 



To have good SEO you need to keep these basics in mind.

  1. Understanding your customer's needs when they head to a search engine for help. This will result in content that is rich with answers because you know your customers need inside-out

  2. Create curiosity to get visits. Build trust with content that meets their needs. You will page and blog titles that match the search terms your users enter into Google and have descriptive text within your pages that Google can pick out and use to get you a good ranking position. Also, you will need an opening paragraph that shows you are experienced in dealing with the subject and can hint at answers that create curiosity.... enough for them to click to your site from the search engine.

  3. Once landed at your site, your content needs to Build trust and engagement and produce enough emotion for them to act...  a sale, subscription or a new contact.
